| Chemically and crystallographically identical to Hostaperm Red E3B. Differs from this in its higher covering power, better rheological properties, easier dispersibility, distinctly improved flocculation stability and, coloristically, by a yellower purer shade both in full tone and reductions, and about 10 % higher tinctorial strength. Because of the good flocculation stability a haze-free high gloss is obtained in paints even at high pigment concentrations.Used mainly in high-quality paint systems, e. g. as the base pigment for bluish red shades for lead-free automotive paints. |
